The pieces
Bowls, cups and plates in high-fired stoneware. Each series has one shape, one glaze, one name. Bosc. Pigues. Marble.

One fornada
A set for forty covers is one batch.
Same clay. Same hands. Same bucket of glaze. Fired together, in one load of the kiln. In Catalan that load is a fornada, and it is why the bowl on table twelve matches the bowl on table one.
Made for service
Handmade, and built for a Tuesday night.
Samples first. Plate on them, run them through your wash, then decide.
High-fired
Rims for service
Recipes on file
High-fired stoneware, so the body takes the dishwasher and the pass.
Rims thrown for a service, not for a shelf.
Glaze recipes on file. The next batch is mixed to match the first.
